Chris Preston is the longest running member of The CPR Band. Chris began playing bass on the tuba in third grade which he continued to pursue throughout high school. He started on the electric bass at the age of 11 studying under the instruction from local instructor Noris Lewis. Chris's professional playing career started at a very young 13 when he was fortunate enough to be asked to join his Brother's band which had much older members. That band played gigs ranging from beer tents to CYO dances and Chris was hooked. Since then Chris has played thousands of regional gigs and national gigs with The CPR Band and others. He also writes and records music in his fully equipped recording studio, Cedar Ranch Studio.
